“Creativity is intelligence having fun.” – Einstein
Everyone knows Tony Robbins.
Far fewer know the man that mentored him.
His name was Jim Rohn.
Years ago, Jim shared what he believed were the four questions everyone should ponder .
He should have had a 5th.
His four questions were simple.
Why
Why read the books, why wake up early, why work so hard, why push yourself?
His answer? Because the best answer to Why is…
Why Not
Why not see how great you can become?
How much you can learn?
How far you can travel?
How much you can give?
Why naturally leads to the 3rd question.
Why not You
Someone is going to write the book.
Start the company
Win the championship
Close the deal.
Why not You.
Why begs the 4th question
Why not Now
Someday is the busiest day of the week.
Tick.
Tock.
But after 20 years and 197 countries, t convinced there should be one more.
Why not WOW?
Not..
Why not more?
Why not faster?
Why not cheaper?
Why not…
WOW?
Because people don’t remember what was good
They remember what was remarkable.
The Savanah Bananas didn’t create another baseball team.
They reinvented baseball.
>Nobody asked baseball to change. Everyone talks about it
Liquid Death didn’t sell water.
The turned the most boring product in the grocery store into a brand people tattoo on themselves.
>Nobody asked water to be entertaining. Everyone remembers it.
A Hotel in the Middle East
Guests don’t just check into the hotel.
You can paraglide off a mountain and land at reception.
>Nobody needs to paraglide into a hotel. Everyone tells that story.
Dash of Courage
The world isn’t short on products.
It’s short on experiences .
It isn’t short on companies.
It’s short on stories.
It isn’t short on good.
It’s desperately in need of Wow.
So ask Jim’s four questions: Why, Why Not, Why not You, Why not Now.
Then ask one more: Why not Wow?
Because in the end…
If it’s not Wow, its not Worth doing.
