“Never miss a good chance to shut up. – Will Rogers
There’s about 100 good working days left in the year.
This is contrarian, but I believe it to be true:
You already know what to do .
You’ve read the books. Listened to the podcasts. Highlighted the quotes. You’ve got more sticky notes than steps taken.
And yet, you’re still waiting.
Waiting on the perfect plan.
The right words.
From the right mentor.
At the right time. And then you’ll act.
Wrong. No new advice will make you ready. Only action will.
I know because I did the same thing.
Before I wrote my book “10 Seconds of Insane Courage ” I was stuck asking everyone for advice. If I just found the right person, at the right time, who said it the right way…then it would be perfect.
I was wrong. Instead I started writing. I knew what I needed to do.
John Maxwell says there are 21 Laws of Leadership. Maybe
Stephen Covey says there are 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Maybe
Someone said there are 5 Love Languages. Maybe
I say life changes with 10 Seconds of Insane Courage . Definitely .
Because the Maybe only becomes Definitely the moment you do it.
Dash of Courage
These last 100 days, no new advice.
Don’t download another book.
Don’t chase another hack.
Don’t wait for the perfect time.
You already know what you need to do. Do it.
Advice doesn’t change your life. Action does .
Courage over comfort,
